    Playing with Words

4th Grade was invited by Mrs. Pope to illustrate, crayon resist, and watercolor collective nouns for a bulletin board display in the hallway. Students were excited to learn these fun collective nouns such as ( a prickle of porcupines) and create artwork to represent them. The artwork will provide an opportunity for Pierce students to become familiar with collective nouns and learn new vocabulary.

Be sure to look for the bulletin board at Open House and don't forget to RSVP for the pizza dinner following the Title 1 presentation.
